THE AGRITURISMO: Il Passo degli Ulivi is a gorgeous agriturismo in Tuscany, the perfect location for a relaxing vacation in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, halfway between Siena and Grosseto. This very position makes it very convenient for sightseeing: Il Passo degli Ulivi is only a short drive from the coast and from many of Tuscany’s must see-sights. The agriturismo is situated in the open countryside, in a panoramic position that offers spectacular views of the surrounding typical tuscan landscape: all-round nature, little hills, olive groves and vineyards. It is built along the ancient Via del Sale (literally “Road of the Salt” – name due to the trade of salt) which originally joined Siena to the sea, passing by old settlements nowadays well-known for their beauties, like the Abbadia Ardenghesca and the terme di Petriolo.   THE FACILITIES: The agriturismo consists of 3 apartments of approximately 40 sqm each: respectively the Edera, the Spighe and the Badia. Each of them is made up of a kitchen-living room, a double bedroom and a typical bathroom (with shower stall), and everything is fashioned in the classic tuscan style: roof with chestnut beams and shallow terracotta bricks, cotto tiles and natural stone walls cladding in the bathrooms. The apartments look charming, nevertheless we believe that the agriturismo strong point are the outdoors: two terraces/solarium, the wide porch, the olive grove, a huge lawn, a private swimming pool 6x12 m and the near stream “Lanzo” all chip in to create a striking and relaxing atmosphere.   EQUIPMENTS: Household appliances – internet wireless, TV, air conditioner/heat pump, fridge+freezer, oven, microwave oven, coffe maker moka, american coffee maker, toaster, hair-drier, laundry machine (outside, in common for the 3 apartments). Furniture – Kitchen-Living room: fitted kitchen, 4 people dinette set, cupboard, large sofa bed. Bedroom: double bed, two wings wardrobe, two bedside tables+lamps, writing table with chair.
