Weekend at Giglio, the most beautiful granite island of the Tuscan Archipelago. Day 1:
the itinerary begins to Giglio Porto and goes up along the ancient mule track that leads to
Castle. Visit of the medieval village and continue to Campese along the
path "Dolce" crossing cultivations and woods of Mediterranean maquis. Stop
in the largest granite beach of the island and return to the port by bus
line. Day II: transfer to Giglio Castello
by regular bus; from here we will cross the ridge until we reach points
very panoramic stop, inside the National Park of the Archipelago
Tuscan. On a sunny path we will descend towards Capel Rosso, the most
south of the island where the cliff merges with the deep blue waters of
Tyrrhenian Sea. Return between large flowery spaces and rocky areas uscelli, reaches the
centuries-old chestnut tree Miraglia and allows you to see some places of faith such as
small chapels and the Camaldolese Hermitage.
