Photography exhibition “London Upside Down / Londra Sottosopra” at the Galleria Fondo Archivio Gori. A photographic project by Alessandro Sfondrini, curated by Francesco Minucci, promoted by Azienda Agricola Granosalis and sponsored by the Municipality of Grosseto.

The exhibition, open until Sunday 24 May 2026, brings together 94 black-and-white photographs taken over a two-year period and dedicated to London, a city particularly dear to the photographer. Through numerous trips to the British capital, Sfondrini has developed a personal and original perspective on the metropolis, focusing not only on its streets and best-known landmarks, but above all on the city’s underground dimension.

The London Underground thus becomes a sort of parallel city, made up of shapes, figures, geometries and suspended moments that intertwine perfectly with London’s urban atmosphere. An intense and evocative visual narrative that invites visitors to observe the city from unusual and everyday perspectives, rediscovering details and atmospheres that are often invisible.
