The Oaktree Farmhouse extends for about 61 acres of woods, olive trees and vineyards. The olive grove is recorded at the I.G.P. Tuscany and vineyard belongs to the D.O.C. (original control denomination) of Monteregio of Massa Marittima. The old stony building (recently restored) can accommodate up 11 people in four comfortable and finely furnished apartments, equipped with an independent outside space, one of which designed for handicapped people. Other facilities available: swimming pool (5 mt. wide and 12 mt. long) children playground with slides and swings. Possibility of practising sports: soccer, volley ball, bowling, trekking and mountain biking. Very picturesque is the town of Massa Marittima with its marvellous medieval square, one of the most beautiful in the world. The arts cities of Pisa, Siena, Florence are easily reachable by 1-2 hours car travel In the important ex-mining area of Gavorrano will be soon available a natural park for visiting and studies. The sea is near just on the other side of some hills: Puntone di Scarlino and its port and Follonica are about 15 km far; Punta Ala, prestigious port and worldwide known touristic resort, is 20 km far. At about 40 km south, past Grosseto (a town worth a visit), lays the protected area of "The Uccellina Nature Park" with its pine woods, rich in wild animals, its medieval towers, the nature itineraries and uncontaminated beaches of Marina di Alberese and Cala di Forno. The farmhouse is easily reachable both by road and by railway. Driving along the Aurelia Motorway, at the Gavorrano Scalo exit, follow the direction for Ravi, after which a country road called "Strada degli Scopai" leads, at a distance of about mt. 700, to the farmhouse easily distinguishable for a big oak in front of it.
