Our organic farm is located amidst 400 hectares of fields and woods overlooking the peaceful Val di Cornia.  Its ancient structures and historical terrain represent the traditional Maremma.  Here, we offer an unforgettable authentic experience of culture, nature, food, adventure and relaxation. San Ottaviano is the perfect location to explore this special area of Tuscany.  With a short drive, one is able to reach beautiful beaches (Follonica, San Vincenzo, Cala Violina), medieval hill-top towns (Suvereto, Massa Marittima, Volterra, San Gimignano), parks (Le Biancane, Montioni, San Silvestro), and important vineyards (Petra, Rocca di Frassinello, Argentiera, Gualdo al Tasso - just to name a few). For those wishing to relax - with so much to experience on the farm - there is little reason to leave!  We are proud to share with our guests our many passions and traditions.  We offer guided tours and tastings in our on-site craft brewery, horseback riding lessons and trail rides,  delicious Tuscan dishes in our farm-to-table restaurant, two 17 x 8 metre pools, many miles of marked trails through woods and fields, and numerous farm animals to visit!  (cows, horses, pig, chickens, donkeys, bees, and our dogs, Petra and Camilla!) Before leaving, be sure to taste our organic products:  extra virgin olive oil, “Millefiori di San Ottaviano” honey, free-range beef, homemade jams and, of course, our beer! Located 300 m from the central area, there are 9 more recently renovated self-catering apartments. They are located around a large pool and surrounded by a tranquil olive grove. Breakfast at Podere I Massoni is not included in the price, but available upon request.
