Our itinerary begins with a visit to Roccatederighi, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in the Maremma, built on spectacular rocks that make it a real "balcony" over the Maremma. From Roccatederighi, through cultivated fields, chestnut groves and natural woods we will reach the Castle of Sassoforte built in the Middle Ages on top of an ancient volcano at almost 800 meters above sea level. From the top the view sweeps across the Maremma, from the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago to Mount Amiata, from Siena to Northern Lazio.
