At Cassero... It's Christmas!

The doors of the village of Santa Claus at the Cassero of Grosseto have been opened for a few days. Every day many initiatives for young and old.
"At the Cassero... it’s Christmas!" will be open every day, from 15.30 to 19.30; to access the Fortress, in addition to the traditional entrance of the drawbridge, you can go from the gallery near the parking lot of Vallo degli Arcieri.
A path through the galleries below the Cassero will allow visitors to enter the Fortress in a magical Christmas atmosphere: the underground will host an exhibition of nativity scenes and colorful markets of hobbyists. In a large gallery you can visit a fascinating exhibition of medieval Tuscan villages, made of papier-mâché. The entire Fortress will be dressed in lights and colors and will be dominated by the big Christmas tree: in the sixteenth-century houses will be set up Christmas settings and. of course the house of Santa Claus. And every day Santa Claus will be available to children to talk, to be photographed and receive their letters.
The daily program of "Al Cassero... it’s Christmas!" will include Christmas concerts, street theater shows, magic, dance and music, as well as workshops for children who will realize their little works together with elves and helpers of Santa Claus. For those who want to dance Christmas there will be an area dedicated to the Baby Christmas Dance.
