For the twenty-second consecutive year the coast of Marina and Principina a Mare boasts the Blue Flag award, recognition conferred to the Municipality of Grosseto from the Fee (Foundation for Environmental Education) in Rome. to receive the award were the Deputy Mayor and municipality delegated Tourism councilor Luca Agresti.
The prize honors the coast of Grosseto since the edition of 1999, responding positively to the Fee regulations, which include quality of bathing water, environmental education activities offered to residents and bathers, the good waste management, in addition the rescue and safety services on the beach to protect bathers.
