BotanicalDryGarden is the first dry botanical garden in Italy, a multifaceted space that blends landscape, art, and sustainability.
Located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, BotanicalDryGarden is the first dry botanical garden in Italy. The park hosts over 1,500 species and varieties of low-water-demand plants, spread across more than 40,000 square meters.
The botanical garden combines landscape creativity with environmental awareness: we chose to focus on perennial plants that can survive with minimal irrigation and almost no maintenance. The project was born from the desire to envision a new way of approaching greenery, recognizing and valuing the natural intelligence of plants.
BotanicalDryGarden® is a multifaceted space that also features a contemporary art path and an open-air theater, an ideal setting for concerts and events. In recent months, we have also been working on a vast labyrinth, soon to be inaugurated, entirely made of Mediterranean plants.
There is no predefined itinerary: visiting BotanicalDryGarden means letting yourself be guided by emotions, observing, exploring, and taking your time to connect with nature and savor every sensation.
