vThe tenth Sea Cinema Festival will animate the heart of Castiglione della Pescaia from 23 to 27 August: evening screenings at the Cinema Castello and afternoon projections of documentaries at the Library "Italo Calvino" (starting from 18:00) where three short films chosen by the "Redazione Giovani" will also be screened. The evening films will be preceded by some short films in competition at the Prix Mancini and Paris. In the late afternoon, at 'Orto del Lilli, will be held meetings with some of the guests, presented by Piera Detassis and Giovanni Veronesi. Not to be missed, in the rich program of the Festival, will be the concert of Bobo Rondelli together with Music from Storeroom, Sunday 24 August at 19, on the beach at the former Bagno Maristella.

To inaugurate this edition will be the exhibition by Claudio Chimenti, "Stay Out of the Water", which will be staged at Club Velico from 23 August (opening to the public at 17:30): the exhibition explores the charm and terror of marine monsters in the cinema, revisiting and reinterpreting the protagonists of some films that have made history, but also digging and searching for those most hidden and forgotten. A visual tribute to a genre that, between horror and science fiction, has been able to influence the pop culture and the collective imagination, marking the way to a rich and yet unsold cinema.

On August 24, at 18:00, also at the Club Velico will be presented the book by Lorenzo Grossi about Ambrogio Fogar, twenty years after his death.

To emphasize also the organization of an important moment of information and comparison, scheduled on the morning of Sunday 24 August, with the presence of some important Italian film producers (more details will be provided later).
