The traditional 29th Fair returns to Pitigliano!

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the evening, in the market area.

The Fiera del 29 has its roots in the past: established by Count Ludovico Orsini in 1518, it is among the oldest fairs in Tuscany and the oldest in the Maremma.

Born as a livestock and goods fair, it initially took place on August 15th. Only at the end of the seventeenth century was it moved to September 29th, the date linked to the beginning of the grape harvest, thanks to the Confraternity of the Faccendieri, small country entrepreneurs.
