From December 27th to 29th, we look forward to seeing you in Santa Fiora for three days of stories, music, games, and meetings dedicated to our Torchlight Procession, one of Monte Amiata's most heartfelt and beloved traditions.
With “Waiting for the Torchlight Procession” we want to open the doors of the country, make known the profound history of this community rite and tell the story of the value of fire as a living heritage, which every year continues to unite generations, families and visitors.
Talks with traditional protagonists, children's workshops, music, walks through the village, traveling shows, and small, widespread events: three days to discover Santa Fiora from within, breathe in its identity, and experience the anticipation of the brightest night of the year.
Street food and winter market and tastings, from morning until late evening.
And then on December 30th, the most anticipated event: the Torchlight Procession of Santa Fiora.
A unique night, which symbolically lights up the new year and illuminates the entire village.
