Puccini was a passionate man, of strong temperament, a romantic spirit. Sides of the character fully confluent in every work. Puccini was a viveur, a flaneur of first order. Passionate hunter, perhaps not everyone knows that one of the favorite hunting territories of the Master was the Maremma. And who knows, working a little' fantasy we can think that in one of these stays could have come across another legendary character, symbol of the Maremma of late nineteenth century... the brigand Tiburzi.
