Grand Opera Returns to Enchant Massa Marittima: Presenting the 2025 Edition of Lirica in Piazza

Once again this summer, the magic of opera will resonate through the stunning setting of Piazza Garibaldi in Massa Marittima, as the 2025 edition of Lirica in Piazza takes place on August 3rd, 4th, and 5th, with performances starting at 9:15 PM. This eagerly awaited event transforms one of Italy’s most charming squares into an open-air stage, offering unforgettable emotions through music, art, and history.

This year’s program features three timeless masterpieces from the operatic repertoire. The festival opens on Sunday, August 3rd with Turandot by Giacomo Puccini, followed on Monday, August 4th by L’elisir d’amore by Gaetano Donizetti. The grand finale on Tuesday, August 5th will feature the majestic Aida by Giuseppe Verdi. Three unmissable nights under the stars!
