Montiano – Cinema in the Square

Pro Loco Montiano APS announces the return of “Cinema in the Square”, a film series dedicated to films that have shaped history and still inspire us to dream.
​This year’s theme: “We wanted to change the world!”


​ 16 AUGUST: “Mary Poppins”
Let’s rediscover joy and magic with the most beloved nanny of all time, ready to bring a touch of ‘sugar’ and a bit of magic into our lives. A Disney classic for all ages, with an introductory segment on the importance of suffragettes around the world, particularly as we mark the 80th anniversary of women’s suffrage in Italy.

​ 30 AUGUST: “The Help”
A powerful and moving film that makes us reflect on courage, the power of stories and the determination to bring about change. A story of friendship and resilience that never grows old.

​ 6 SEPTEMBER: ‘We All Loved Each Other So Much’
A masterpiece of Italian cinema, an ironic and melancholic portrait of a changing Italy through the friendship of three men and a woman. A film that makes us laugh, cry and, above all, think.
