With the arrival of spring, Roccastrada and its enchanting territory come alive to celebrate the richness and authenticity of the Maremma with the widespread event ‘Springtime in Roccastrada: the territory and its flavours’. This event, fruit of the synergy between the municipal administration and the local Pro Loco, invites residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of the landscape and discover the genuine flavours that characterise this land. Through a varied calendar of initiatives, it will be possible to explore evocative corners of the municipality, participate in sensory experiences linked to typical products and learn about the traditions that mark the life of the area. An unmissable opportunity to experience spring in Roccastrada under the banner of taste, culture and the rediscovery of one's roots.

Sunday 13 April, with the pro Loco di Ribolla organising ‘Pic nic on the meadow and trekking’. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., a guided walk in the places of the mine with picnic starting from the Vi.Vi.Mi centre.

On Saturday, 3 May, the Pro Loco Piloni/Torniella will be the protagonist with the event ‘La Val di Farma e i suoi sapori’ (The Val di Farma and its flavours): from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the new multi-purpose structure in via Senese, presentation of typical local products illustrated by their producers and guided tasting in various preparations.

On Sunday 18 May, the Pro Loco Sasso&Forte together with the Pro Loco Roccatederighi will jointly organise ‘Camminando tra i sapori’ (Walking among flavours): from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. panoramic walk starting from Piazzetta Senesi and arriving at the Fonte di Vandro park. Tasting of typical products along the route.

On Saturday 7 June, the Pro Loco di Sticciano will be the protagonist with the event ‘Non solo strozzapreti...’, during which, from 6 p.m. to midnight, an evening of tasting and promotion of typical local products will be organised at the multipurpose structure in Via Vecchia, surrounded by an event for children, an exhibition of paintings, and an evening of dancing.

On Saturday 21 June, the Pro Loco Roccastrada organises ‘Parco del Chiusone in festa’: from 3.00 p.m. to midnight, tasting of local products and dancing entertainment in the Chiusone Park.
