From 21 to 23 August 2026, Catabbio, a hamlet of Semproniano (GR), will host the 38th edition of the Polenta Festival. Throughout the event, visitors will be able to sample local specialities – including, of course, polenta – and enjoy themselves in good company.

The programme for the Catabbio Polenta Festival includes the opening of the food stalls every evening at 8.00 pm. A range of specialities will be prepared for the occasion: from maize polenta served with ragù, mushrooms and pancetta (a Catabbio recipe) to chestnut flour polenta with ricotta. Other local specialities include crostini with polenta, mushrooms and pancetta, mixed grills and traditional local desserts.

Throughout the festival, there will also be plenty of opportunities for entertainment thanks to the many activities and live music.

The Polenta Festival will take place at the Ildo Giomarelli Multipurpose Hall in Via Giacomo Matteotti, Catabbio.

Admission to all the shows is free.
