Grape and Cellar Festival 2025-Isola del Giglio

Giglio Island is preparing to welcome a new edition of the Grape and Cellar Festival, scheduled from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 September in the charming medieval village of Giglio Castello, the historic heart of the island.
The food and wine event celebrates the traditions of Giglia with tastings, music and conviviality. Visitors will have the opportunity to savor typical dishes inside the old cellars, once intended for the production of Ansonaco, the famous local wine.
There will be eight wineries open to the public, each with a rich menu that ranges from seafood and land specialties to typical Gigliese cavatelli, up to traditional desserts. Piazzetta Volta will host the island's winemakers with guided tastings, while the streets of the village will be animated by live music, with groups offering local, popular and folk repertoires, to conclude the evenings with the usual DJ set in Piazza Gloriosa.
Event times:
● Thursday, Friday and Saturday: opening of the cellars for dinner starting from 7.30 pm;
● Sunday: opening of the cellars for lunch starting from 12:00;
● Traveling music through the streets of the village from 8pm to 11.30pm;
● Concerts in Piazza Gloriosa from 11.30pm to 2.30am.
The complete program and the map of the cellars will be available shortly on the Pro Loco website of Isola del Giglio and Giannutri.
Visitors will be able to participate in an authentic experience, between culture, tradition and conviviality. We will be happy to welcome you to the cellar.
The event is organized by: Pro Loco Isola del Giglio with the patronage of the Municipality of Isola del Giglio. PRO
