Festival of Wineries 2022-Manciano


The festival returns from 9 to 11 September in Manciano with wine, typical cuisine and music.
Back in Manciano the Festival of wineries from 9 to 11 September. The traditional event linked to the wine history of the Tuscan Maremma will take place in the historic center of Manciano, with food and wine tours, to discover the ancient flavors of Tuscan cuisine. This is the 26th edition characterized by three days full of events and initiatives during which it repopulates the historic center of the country. They will reopen the traditional cellars where you can taste both typical dishes of the Maremma tradition and good local wine. On 9, 10 and 11 September, different types of wineries will be open, each set up in a creative and original way. Festive atmosphere in Manciano with street artists and music in the streets of the village. In Manciano on Friday 9 September at 10 pm, the suggestive torchlight procession on horseback will open the Festa delle Cantine. Tamburini di Pitigliano and the historical parade of Montemerano will be present. A procession of knights, equipped with torches, will cross the main streets of the country and will kick off the festivities. Saturday, September 10 at the street markets from the morning and from 18 the street artists will brighten the day. Sunday, September 11 craft markets from the morning and at 22 in Piazza Garibaldi will stage the Tuscan comedian Alessandro Paci with the show "Not only jokes", followed by an explosion of music with "I lordi e balordi social club" and dj sets. "We are excited to return to see the old town of Manciano full of people and music - explain from the pro loco of Manciano - to be able to offer tourists our wine and local food, all accompanied by live music, DJs and historical groups of the country, just for all tastes.
