There is a time of year when the doors of Giglio Castello’s ancient cellars swing wide open, the scent of grape must mingles with the salty sea air, and the narrow streets come alive. That time is here again.

From May 22 to 24, 2026, get ready for the latest edition of Un Quarto di Cantine. It’s not just a wine tasting; it’s a total immersion in one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, where time seems to have stood still to make way for the celebration.

The Heart in the Glass: Discover the bold character of the local wine, Ansonica, the heroic soul of the island that takes root among the terraces overlooking the sea.

Tradition to Savor: Let yourself be tempted by the region’s traditional dishes, prepared according to time-honored recipes.

Live music groups will liven up the atmosphere even more with a mix of local traditions, folk, and popular music, while on Saturday evening the festival will wrap up with the usual DJ set in Piazza Gloriosa.
