From June to September 2026, the “A. Peccei” Environmental Education Centre at Casale della Giannella in the WWF Orbetello Lagoon Nature Reserve will host talks, book presentations, stargazing sessions and children’s workshops according to the following schedule:

20 June 2026 at 8.00 pm
“Monsters in the cosmos: the universe of anomalous galaxies”, a lecture by astrophysicist Dr Stefano Schirinzi, President of the Antares Centre for Astronomical Studies, followed by a guided observation of the night sky using professional telescopes
3 July 2026 at 6.00 pm
“Identifying a habitat tree using the RADAR Table”, a lecture by Dr Giuseppe Puddu, an official at the Ente Monti Cimini, Lago di Vico Regional Nature Reserve
24 July 2026 at 6.00 pm
“Prehistoric Ecology. Environment, Society and Culture in Italy’s Prehistory”, book launch, published by UTET, in the presence of the author, Prof. Umberto Tecchiati, University of Milan
