An extraordinary route that offers the best available in the tuff area within very deep and evocative “Etruscan cuts,” flanking streams where trout and animals that love these still clean waters live. The route touches the impressive village of Sorano, which rises precipitously over the tuffs, where we will visit the old town dominated by the Orsini Fortress and the Masso Leopoldino, and the ancient rock settlement of Vitozza, among the few preserved in central Italy, with 200 caves immersed in the lush vegetation typical of the hilly area of Maremma.
Meet at 9 a.m. Sorano Fortress, parking lot (some cars will be left here that will be used to return to San Quirico)
Duration about 6 hours - Length about 10 km - Difficulty easy
