March sees a fascinating series of events dedicated to the river ecosystem: the River Trilogy, organised in collaboration with the Maremma Park.

Three not-to-be-missed appointments to explore the fauna, water quality and riparian vegetation of the Ombrone river, with experts and field activities.

THE PROGRAMME

📌 Saturday 1 March - The fish that inhabit our river

With the Alcedo association we will discover the fish species of the Ombrone river and their role in the ecosystem.

With Dr. Luisa Galgani of the University of Siena (CS4Rivers project) we will analyse water quality parameters and monitoring techniques.

With Marco Cossu of the National Biodiversity Network we will explore the importance of vegetation along watercourses.
