‘Le notti della natura’ is back – the festival organised by the Colline Metallifere National Park and dedicated to popular science, local knowledge and the discovery of biodiversity.

Now in its sixth year, the initiative offers a programme of talks with scientists and science communicators, complemented by night-time nature walks to experience the Park’s environments in a different light: that of the stars. ✨

From July to August, the festival will involve the municipalities of Follonica, Scarlino, Gavorrano and, for the first time, Monterotondo Marittimo, reaffirming the value of a cultural programme that brings together science, nature and public participation.

Biodiversity, climate change, wildlife, geothermal landscapes and Mediterranean environments will be at the heart of a programme designed to bring residents and visitors closer to the natural riches of the Colline Metallifere, with contributions from leading figures in science communication.

📌 Admission to all events is free.
The night-time excursions have limited places, with booking essential and a maximum of 35 participants. Dogs and other pets are not permitted.
