An off-schedule event, organized to meet the demands of those who want to spend a nice day trekking in our company, on the Island of Giglio.
Meeting with the guide in Porto S. Stefano at the boarding of ships at 8.10 where we will take the ferry to the island of Giglio, departing at 8.30. Arrival in Giglio Porto after about an hour. Transfer by bus to Giglio Castello. We will visit Giglio Castello, where there will be the occasion also the May festival of the cellars, then continue along the ridge until you reach the highest points of the island from which you can admire spectacular 360 degrees views over the coast and the Tuscan Archipelago. Descent through large flowered spaces and rocky areas to the beach of Cannelle, beautiful cove with white sand and turquoise sea.
Return to the port along a simple street.
Return ferry at 17.30.
Duration of the trekking 6 hours approximately including the stops for explanations, the visit of the Castle and the stop for packed lunch.
Cost € 25,00 per person excluding ferry to/ from the island (which each will have to buy independently) and transfer with minivans to Giglio Castello (€ 3,50 per pax).
