“The Sports Festival” for hundreds of young athletes from secondary schools in Grosseto

The event will take place on Wednesday 3 June, from 9am, at Campo Zauli and the Carlo Zecchini Stadium in Grosseto, in memory of Alex Zanardi.

Hundreds of students from secondary schools in the provincial capital will gather on Wednesday 3 June, from 9 am, at Campo Zauli and the Carlo Zecchini Stadium in Grosseto to take part in the “Sports Festival”, trying their hand at the various sports on offer throughout the day.

The initiative, conceived and organised by the Provincial Sports Council, aims to promote sport among young people, celebrate athletes, foster inclusion and socialisation through sport, and strengthen collaboration between schools, sports associations and institutions. This first edition will be dedicated to the memory of Alex Zanardi, an extraordinary athlete and a symbol of resilience, determination and passion for sport, a true role model for the younger generations.
