A unique opportunity to discover one of the most important wetland ecosystems in the Mediterranean, internationally recognised for its biodiversity and for its central role in the migratory route of aquatic avifauna.
Ornithological walks, treks, mini treks on Clodia Island, mountain bike rides, and literary experiences will take the public on a discovery of the history, nature, and landscapes that make Diaccia Botrona an extraordinary place in every season.
The activities, led by Le Orme and Cooperativa Silva, will take place between December 2025 and March 2026, with a rich calendar designed for everyone: explorers, families, the curious, and environmental lovers.

For Diaccia Botrona, the Province of Grosseto is coordinating actions dedicated to:
promote knowledge of the territory and facilitate informed and responsible access
support the creation of the Wet Area Contract of Diaccia Botrona
enhance the reserve through sustainable tourism activities, environmental education and participatory routes with citizens, institutions and local stakeholders create new digital and information tools, maps, QR codes, educational workshops and a calendar of free excursions aimed at the community and visitors.
