New choices, changes of direction, mistakes, a gaze turned both to the past and the future, yet with a single, indispensable constant: photography. This is what Michele Guerrini’s “Mutamenti. Esposizione estemporanea” will explore through the presentation of over forty photographs.

An introspective and artistic journey, a photographer’s reflection on the surface of a broken mirror, a whirlwind of snapshots recounting the last five years of his professional and artistic life, a long work in progress where yesterday’s and today’s projects sometimes merge whilst at other times diverge, bearing witness to the evolution of the Grosseto-based photographer: “Anyone who never changes their mind is narrow-minded,” comments Michele Guerrini. Time is an essential tool for all artisans to understand where our projects are taking us and to decide what to cut and what to explore further. Changing one’s mind is a fundamental aspect of the artistic experience.”

Change, cross-pollination and (even) radical shifts in direction will therefore be on display from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th May, from 6pm to 8pm, at the “Lucifero” gallery in Via San Martino 16, Grosseto. The opening will take place on Friday 22nd May at 6.30pm. Free admission.
