“Animal laughter” conference with Prof. Elisabetta Palagi

A scientific dissemination event dedicated to the memory of Jane Goodall, a pioneer of chimpanzee studies who recently passed away.

Prof. Elisabetta Palagi (Department of Biology, University of Pisa) will present her book Why we laugh. At the origins of the social brain (Il Mulino), accompanying us on a fascinating journey through play, empathy and social behaviors shared by men and animals.
An internationally renowned scholar, author of over 190 publications, Palagi has been investigating for years the cognitive and relational dynamics that unite different species.

A meeting to discover how laughter tells our evolution and the bonds that bring us closer to the animal world.
