Museum Festival 2026
The Museums of Massa Marittima take part in the Museum Festival, promoted by the Musei di Maremma museum network, with a special event hosted at the Archaeological Museum “G. Camporeale”.

“Men and Women at Lake Accesa”
The event will feature a lecture and a guided tour of the Etruscan section of the Archaeological Museum, led by archaeologist Matteo Colombini. During the talk, newly acquired archaeological data from the Etruscan site of Macchia del Monte, located on the shores of Lake Accesa, will be presented. This represents a unique opportunity to learn about recent research developments and gain deeper insight into this fascinating Etruscan settlement.
