Once again this year, MAGMA (the Museum of Cast Iron Arts in the Maremma) is taking part in the ‘Nights of Archaeology’, a programme organised by the Region of Tuscany which, from 1 July to 2 August 2026, will feature special opening hours and events dedicated to promoting the region’s archaeological heritage.

THE ETRUSCAN ARTISAN’S WORKSHOP
The Etruscans were the first major organised civilisation to inhabit our region. Then, as now, their community was founded on principles that enabled many people to live together harmoniously. In what ways were they similar to us, and in what ways were they different? By creating pendants inspired by Etruscan ornaments, we will assign symbols to universal values that have always been important to humanity.
