Design Funzione Arte, the project conceived and curated by designer Alessandro Corina in collaboration with Bosa Ceramiche and director Virgilio Villoresi, returns for its third edition. From 3 June to 30 September 2026, at the Museo Archeologico e d'Arte della Maremma (MAAM) in Grosseto, the exhibition will run for the first time over a four-month period, exploring the relationship between vision and craftsmanship across different eras, languages and forms of expression.

The central theme of the 2026 edition is the very essence of the artisanal vision: the invisible process that transforms a dream into tangible reality, the journey that leads from the idea, through function, to form and finally to art. A journey spanning millennia that brings archaeological heritage into dialogue with contemporary design, demonstrating how human ingenuity has always sought to translate thought, beauty and utility into objects capable of accompanying daily life.

The 2026 edition is produced and organised by the Municipality of Grosseto and co-organised by Fondazione Grosseto Cultura, with the support of Fondazione CR Firenze, Toscana Promozione Turistica, Banca Tema, Tecnoseal and RRD, and under the patronage of the Region of Tuscany.
