Grosseto in the aftermath of illuminated manuscripts. The imperial siege of 1328 - We will host prof. Roberto Farinelli, of the Department of Historical Sciences and Cultural Heritage of the University of Siena, for an unmissable event dedicated to all Middle Ages enthusiasts. Taking inspiration from the 8 manuscripts from the end of the 13th century protagonists of the "GIUBILEO 2025" exhibition. The word of God becomes art', we will delve into the historical context of Grosseto and the Maremma between the end of the thirteenth century, a century of economic, demographic and cultural growth and the fourteenth century, characterized by profound crises but also by great innovations and changes. The event will take place in Piazza Baccarini, in front of the Archaeological and Art Museum of the Maremma. Free entry, reservation recommended.
