Readings at the Museum… tasting: a Sunday of archaeology, books, and flavors
On Sunday, June 28, 2026, the Alberto Manzi Open-Air Civic Archaeological Museum will host a new event of “Spazi d'Autore”, dedicated to the culture, memory, and valorization of the area.
The program will begin at 4:00 PM with a guided tour of the archaeological area, costing 10 euros per person.
At 5:30 pm, Alberto Manzi's book El Loco will be presented, published by Edizioni di Storia e Letteratura, with a preface by Fabio Geda. Massimo Manzi, son of the writer and educator, will speak in conversation with Professor Antonello Carrucoli. Debora Rossi, director of the Civic Archaeological Museums of Pitigliano, will moderate.
Next, tasting with wines, spirits and artisanal chocolate.
The event is free to attend. During the initiative it will be possible to purchase the books presented and the products being tasted.
