The Living Pictures in Montemassi for 2026 will take place on Sunday 31 May. The event transforms the village into an open-air museum, with over 100 participants re-enacting famous paintings in the squares and streets, from 4 pm to 6 pm.

The event is usually free and organised by Arci Montemassi and represents a unique artistic re-enactment of its kind in the Maremma.
