Roselle Archaeological Park

Saturday 26 September: special evening opening for a nominal fee of 1 euro. Special open excavation at the medieval cathedral. The research team led by Prof. Sandro Sebastiani of the University of Buffalo, together with Dr Alessandro Carabia, will give visitors an on-site presentation of the recent scientific discoveries made during this phase of the excavation. The first tour, at 6.00 pm, will take place at the ongoing excavations, followed by two evening tours (admission €1.00) of the entire archaeological site, at 7.30 pm and 9.00 pm, led by staff from the Ministry of Culture. Evening entry is permitted only as part of a guided tour. Booking is recommended.
