For summer 2026, the Accademia Mare Ambiente is offering the workshop ‘An Afternoon as a Marine Biologist’, an initiative organised in collaboration with the Argentario Aquarium and aimed at younger visitors aged between 6 and 14.

Participants will enjoy a two-part experience: first, they will learn to identify the main marine animal and plant species in an open-air workshop, equipped with the tools a real marine biologist would use. This will be followed immediately by a guided tour of the Argentario Mediterranean Aquarium. Biologists, naturalists and experts from the Accademia Mare Ambiente will lead both activities.

The event will take place on Tuesdays 4, 11 and 18 August 2026 at 5.00 pm at the Argentario Mediterranean Aquarium, Lungomare dei Navigatori 44, Porto S. Stefano.
