To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Italian Liberation, the State Archives of Grosseto, in collaboration with the Historical Institute of Resistance and Contemporary Age (ISGREC) and ANPI Provincial Committee of Grosseto, with the Popular Traditions Group "Galli Silvestro", the Philatelic Circle Numismatic Maremmano and Ecista, offers an exhibition of archival documents and other objects from private collections, testimonies of the long and difficult period of the Liberation that, also in Maremma, remain in memory of the many lives sacrificed for freedom.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on 17 April 2025, at 16:00, in the conference room on the first floor of the State Archives of Grosseto, and will be followed by speeches and reflections on the liberation in Italy and Maremma by the organizers, ISGREC and ANPI.
