"Resistance, plural feminine. Stories of women in Tuscany".

The Province of Grosseto, the provincial Equal Opportunities Commission and the Grosseto Historical Institute of the Resistance and Contemporary Age, on the occasion of the 81st Anniversary of the Liberation of the Maremma and the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Italy from Nazi-Fascism, are organising the event "Resistenze, femminile plurale. Storie di donne in Toscana' (Resistance, plural feminine. Stories of women in Tuscany), to present the project realised, thanks to the impulse of the Tuscan Provincial Union and the Regional Council, to give visibility to partisans and patriots but, more generally, to Tuscan women who acted in the Resistance, whose stories - and actions - have often been underestimated in the past.
