<p>The Davide Lazzaretti community cooperative was born on the slopes of Mount Labbro in the municipality of Roccalbegna (GR) and was set up by a group of inhabitants of the various municipal hamlets of different ages, nationalities and experiences, but united by the desire to defend, innovate and valorise the assets of the territory and the body of knowledge proper to the inhabitants of the municipality. Inspired by the community experience of the Giurisdavidici led by Davide Lazzaretti himself at the end of the 19th century, the cooperative, which was established in 2020, aims to pursue the general interests of the citizens living in the municipality of Roccalbegna, in particular to counter the negative effects of depopulation and the loss of resources in terms of people, services, culture and maintenance of the territory.<br>The cooperative's main activity is that of widespread hospitality in the communal hamlets, offering stays in holiday homes or hotels. We realise customised packages with the inclusion of taste experiences, sports and eco-sustainable activities, assisted by existing businesses in the area such as restaurants and local producers of food and wine excellence (cheeses, wines and local specialities such as the Biscotto salato di Roccalbegna with slow food presidium). <br></p>
