The day begins with a visit to Pitigliano, a charming town entirely
built on a tufa cliff, known as the "Little Jerusalem". A
trekking within some of the most beautiful Vie Cave in the area, excavated in
tufa from the Etruscans to move from one area to another, will allow us to
reach Sovana. We will visit the historic center of the ancient capital of the great
feud Aldobrandesco, important for the numerous palaces and sacred buildings of
Romanesque period; the most important Etruscan necropolis will be completed
of the Parco della Civiltà del Tufo, including the Tomba Ildebranda.
