The Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve offers the opportunity to explore a unique and protected ecosystem according to the Ramsar Convention, rich in water birds such as flamingos, ducks, herons, waders and many other migratory and permanent species such as the fascinating osprey. Do not miss the ancient islet that dominated Lake Prile on which the Romans built "Villa Clodia". The environmental guides of Le Orme, active throughout the Maremma and the Tuscan Archipelago, offer guided tours, including birdwatching and educational activities, to discover a vast territory rich in important natural environments including the Diaccia Botrona marsh.
