Saturday, July 8, in Pitigliano, back "Pitigliano underground", with new guided tour of the monumental cellars dug in the tuff and tasting of local products.

The event, promoted by the association Cantine nel Tufo di Pitigliano with the patronage of the Municipality, offers an opportunity to observe from a different perspective the oldest part of the city, rediscovering the charm of the underground Pitigliano.



The program includes: at 10 am meeting point in Piazza Garibaldi, at the tourist office and departure to reach the monumental winery of Fratta with guided wine tasting La Biagiola Winery. A guided tour of the historic centre will follow. At 13:30 traditional Tuscan snack; visit to the monumental cellar of the Cantina di Pitigliano with guided wine tasting of the Cantina di Pitigliano accompanied by local products.


The group will finally move on to the guided tour of the Cantina Monumentale Narcisi & Bussi with tasting of typical sweets and vinsanto.
