The "Biancane" represent an area of great importance
economic and particular charm so as to inspire Dante Alighieri in
writing some parts of the Divine Comedy. In addition to observing numerous
geothermal phenomena such as fumaroles and putizze we will explore an environment
fascinating geological where gaseous emissions have deeply
modified the rock creating gypsum and sulfur deposits. The environment hosts a
atypical flora, composed mainly of cork and heather. Visit of a brewery
that uses geothermal resources, where you can have lunch.
