The Punta Ala Golf Club A.S.D. opened in the spring of 1964. The course is found in a very panoramic setting and boasts a beautiful view of the sea, stretching for over 6168 meters of naturally and gently undulated terrain. The area is characterized by the predominant presence of fen scrub, or “macchia maremmana” in Italian. Thick groves of evergreen trees make up the natural obstacles, which in every opening leads to a vista that reachs all the way down to the sea.

It is considered one of the most beautiful courses in Tuscany, perhaps even in Italy, located in between Castiglione della Pescaia and Follonica.
