The Municipality of Grosseto has joined the national day of urban trekking, the national initiative created to explore the cities and seize the riches out of the classic circuits of mass tourism. "Trekking in color: practices of sustainability through the centuries" is the title of this year’s edition that involved the citizens and the boys of the technical commercial institute of Albinia in the analysis of the changes in the historic center, in terms of sustainability and urban regeneration. During the journey, experienced tour guides of the cooperative Le Orme illustrated and told the dozens of participants about the changes of use of the spaces within the Medici Walls, with a particular attention to the study of ancient toponymy and the redevelopment of the streets of the center, also thanks to the project Trame of the clan collective.
