The 43rd edition of the Snail and Maremma Cuisine Festival will take place from 20 to 26 July in Capalbio (GR), in the Chiarone Scalo area.
The event will be held at the Circolo Il Mare, with food stalls open every evening from 7.30 pm. The festival menu will pay tribute to the festival’s star dish, the snail, served either as a first course with sauce or as a main course, fried, and will be accompanied by many other specialities of Maremma cuisine, such as tortelli with beef or wild boar ragù, barbecued meat, rosticciana, acquacotta and fagioli al fiasco.
