We are delighted to announce the ‘Biblioteca in Cammino’ initiative, a project that combines the pleasure of reading with the thrill of hiking and trekking.
We will set out, both in the library and on the trails, to discover the intangible heritage of the province of Grosseto, accompanied by themed readings and stories told by a qualified hiking guide, right in those very places where the legends, stories and traditions of our land were born.
Six monthly double sessions await us, split between spring (April–June) and autumn (September–November), organised into two parts:

in the library: in-depth sessions on the theme of the month, with texts recommended by our staff and a presentation of the itinerary.
on the trails: easy/intermediate-level hikes on the weekend following the session, directly in the settings of the stories, with themed readings.
The sessions will be led by Luca Deravignone, a qualified hiking guide and photographer, and the hikes will be limited to a maximum of 25 participants to ensure the best possible experience.
Participation is free of charge.

Cattle drivers of yesterday and today: Friday 13 November at 5.00 pm in the library, trek on Sunday 15 November
