The seventh edition of the festival dedicated to contemporary art and culture will take place in Grosseto from 10 to 13 September.

From 10 to 13 September 2026, the TRAME Festival returns to Grosseto for its seventh edition. Four days dedicated to contemporary art and culture, with a programme that weaves together urban art, music, illustration, cinema, talks and audience participation.

It is organised by CLAN and made possible thanks to the vital contribution of the Fondazione CR Firenze, under the patronage of the Municipality of Grosseto and in collaboration with Istituzione Le Mura, Kansassiti APS, the Maremma Digital Media Library, the Clorofilla Film Festival, Drink and Draw Grosseto, Compagnia dei Cosi APS, and in partnership with IsolAzione, an urban art festival held on the island of Giglio.

The theme chosen for this edition is ‘We need space’.

The festival opens on Thursday 10 September at the Molino Hub, in the ‘Cinghialino’ bastion on the Medici walls of Grosseto, with the opening of the IllusTRAME exhibition. The evening will continue with a screening of *Persepolis* by Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud, a tribute to the recently deceased director and her free-spirited, visionary perspective: a film that explores freedom and the search for a place to call home in the world.On Friday 11 September, the artists will begin work on the shutters. Scheduled for 9.00 pm is the lecture ‘SPOMENIK – The Lost Monuments of Tito’s Yugoslavia’ with Massimo Dolce. This will be followed by ‘TRAME DI CEMENTO’, a musical evening featuring Olgha, an Italian-Polish dark synth-pop project; Faglia, a post-punk/darkwave band; and a DJ set by YGY.dj.

Saturday 12 September will be dedicated to the artistic process, offering visitors the chance to follow the creation of the artworks up close. At 9 pm, the festival presents ‘Drink & Draw’, an event dedicated to live drawing with a model, conceived as an informal space for practising and sharing. An opportunity to draw, experiment and spend time together, amidst pencils, bodies and music, in a convivial atmosphere open to anyone wishing to try their hand at drawing.

The final day, Sunday 13 September, will feature the TRAME Street Tour at 6.30 pm, exploring the works created by the artists during the festival. The seventh edition will draw to a close with AGENZIE DI VIAGGI DA NON FARE, a musical reading featuring Gaia Rum and Stefano Tumicelli, with Vanni Breschi on drums and Alessandro Zilli on electric guitar.

The events will take place at Molino Hub, a cultural centre located at 17 Via del Molino a vento, in the ‘troniera del cinghialino’, on the Medici walls.
