After several years of closure for restoration, the splendid hall of Siena's Palazzo Pubblico, which houses the famous frescoes of the Allegory of Good and Bad Government, is once again open to visitors. This is one of the most complex and fascinating works, not only by Ambrogio Lorenzetti, but of the entire panorama of 14th-century Italian painting. To better understand this great painter we will begin the day with a visit to the Church of San Francesco, where the Frescoes of the Brothers Ambrose and Peter are preserved. Then walking through the streets of the city we will reach Palazzo Pubblico for the visit of the complex where we will pay particular attention to the famous cycle, the culmination of the career of the great Ambrogio Lorenzetti.
